Privacy Policy

Learn how JustLayMe handles Grey Mirror uploads, reports, account data, retention, deletion, exports, processors, analytics, and privacy requests.

What happens to a conversation you upload?

An uploaded message history contains the other person’s words as well as your own, which is the reason the handling is documented in specifics rather than in a policy sentence. Retention windows, deletion controls, what is measured and what is never stored are all set out, and deletion is user-triggered rather than requested.

  • Deletion is initiated by you, and the retention window and deletion mechanics are documented on the privacy and deletion page rather than summarised.
  • Analysis reads only the export you supply. It does not connect to any messaging account, and it cannot reach messages you have not exported yourself.
  • Browser analytics are first-party only: coarse daily aggregate counts on an allowlisted set of event names, with no message content, filenames, user ids or full URLs, and not mirrored to third-party analytics providers.
  • If you would rather not upload identifying details at all, Mirror Veil redacts names, phone numbers and emails locally in your browser before anything leaves the device.
  • A report states its own limits: missing media, deleted messages and conversations that moved to another app are named as gaps instead of being filled in.

Grey Mirror processes uploads and derived reports to provide the requested analysis. Cloudflare, Stripe, Brevo, Google, and DeepSeek API have limited roles described in the policy; uploaded conversations are not sold for advertising.

Owner-only original-upload archives and archived chunk folders have a 24-hour default expiry. Privacy, export, correction, and deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
